OK, a few pre-requisites...

Are you using IIS? Is ColdFusion running in Server Config or Multi-Instance?
What DB? Using stored procedures? What are your JVM settings?

Subject: Performance CF 7.01 / Windows 2003

We recently moved our servers and since the move we have seen performance go
down.

We had been running 3 servers load balanced. 1 CF 6 and 2 CF 7.01 on
Windows 2000.

We moved to all CF 7 on Windows 2003.

What I notice when using SeeFusion is that queries are running pretty fast.
Queries running in a couple seconds or less. But then we see time to First
Byte on some requests at 30 seconds and upwards of 120 seconds. These same
pages will run fine at time and then just seem to get caught up. As I said
they had seemed to been working fine before.

We have 15 sim. Requests on dual process machines with 2 gigs of ram. All
files are served up on NAS.

I queried around google some and noticed a few others reported similar
experience when moving but no real solutions.

I wonder if 6.x and 2000 environment just dealt with possible code issues
better and now they are being exposed in this environment.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
