At present I am not doing any conversion of the date, the date is entered as 18/10/2005 this inserts normally as a date (automatically gets inserted as american format as this is the default method of storing dates in mysql, which is fine), I am just using a normal sql statement to do this. The problem occurs when i insert a date such as 10/12/2005 where it changes the 10 and the 12 around when inserting. Seems really odd, have tried #createodbc(form.date_entered)# but get the same error occuring. Have had a look on mysql technical lit, but is a bit of a nightmare to wade through it all.
