The actual SQL Server 2000 settings in question are stored within an XML file: C:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\MMC\SQL Server Enterprise Manager However, this file contains CLSIDs and GUIDs that might be difficult to edit manually. I suspect it would take you longer to figure out how to change these appropriately, than it would just to recreate the appropriate entries within each user's profile.
