Hello all, I need to build a CF (using CF5) front end to a MySQL database. I am having issues trying to get the data from the Blob datatype fields. There are images, files(mostly MSword) and large blocks of text in the fields. My searches have not found much, mostly devleopers/coders disucsing the pros and cons of putting images/files in a database. I have found a few with PhP code for getting the images , but so far no way to do it with Coldfusion. Downloaded and installed Connector/ODBC 3.51.12 from mysql.com to make the OBDC connection. The database is MySQL 5. Any help on getting any of the three diffrent types of blobs, using Coldfusion would be appricated. Thanks Rodney
