No, the lead authors were the father/son tandem of Adam and David
Churvis from Productivity Enhancement. I know that Charlie and Hal had
smaller contributions to the book, but I took a class with Adam and
David a couple years back and they were the ones that had mentioned
this issue. However, it should be pointed out that the book was
written for CFMX 6.0 and it's quite possible that whatever performance
issues there might have been were resolved in the 6.1 release or
later.
