Actually, there's a big, obvious caveat to the accessiblity of FlashPaper: FP2 documents are only as accessible as the content fed to the converter. So if there's no alt-text on the image fed to it, then there's no alt-text on the image in the FP document.
It may seem obvious, but people here expect magic and are disappointed when you tell them they still have to do something to make documents accessible. They see a statement like "FlashPaper2 format is accessible" and think that they can wash their hands of the problem. And I can't recall, do the FP control bar icons in the chrome have text equivalents? And is there an easy way to flip between reading the document to using the controls when using a screen reader? --- Kevin Graeme Cooperative Extension Technology Services University of Wisconsin-Extension > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2006 7:54 AM > To: CF-Talk > Subject: Re: ADA compliance and PDF > > FYI, in CF7, reports and documents produced in FlashPaper2 > format are accessible.
