I've been examining CF frameworks; it appears that many require either a mapping or installation into the CF wwwroot.
On a shared host, this is a problem. If everyone on the box wants to use, for example, Model-Glue, we need to have the MG core files in a "ModelGlue" under the "/" mapping. If a MG version upgrade is done, we all need to coordinate the upgrade (or risk broken code) and if one area wants to hold off, we all do. Are any frameworks free of this structural requirement? -- CFAJAX docs and other useful articles: http://jr-holmes.coldfusionjournal.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:233186 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
