The line 12 example I posted earlier is the line that reads that XML
file, so it can't instantiate the component to read its own XML config
file.
Regardless, open one of the CFCs and you will see plenty of this (the
example here is line 13 of Event.cfc):

"ModelGlue.Util.CollectionBeanMaker").init(variables.state) />
i.e. "ModelGlue" as a root folder hardcoded into the core of the framework.
