You're missing an opportunity if all you do is let the font size get bigger when your resolution goes up. This of course assumes an intranet environment where you can standardize on a given display, which is a luxury a lot of folks don't have. But... A company whose intranet I write and manage picked up all new monitors a few months back, and jumped from 1024x768 to 1600x1200. I took that opportunity to redesign the user interface. Suddenly I had a whole lot more screen real estate to play with. I could lower font sizes and maintain readability, which gave me more room onscreen. I used that room to add data so that users could see a complete snapshot of the subject and all of its related records at a glance rather than having to jump from screen to screen to get the same information. --Matt Robertson--- Janitor, MSB Web Systems http://mysecretbase.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:233472 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
