The video was a couple of minutes. The video was 720x480. You would guess wrong
that Divx could do the same compression. I have been doing a lot of video
compression to get videos from my DVD's to my phone and have tried, Xvid, divx,
and mp4 and none of them have ever gotten anywhere near the kind of compression
that I got in Flash 8.

There is a reason why everyone is going towards flash compression and it's
because it's the best. If Divx created smaller videos and all the site had to
do was have them install some software then a lot more sites would make Divx a
requirement for thier site or at least even mention it as an option. The
majority of the big traffic sites do not even have Divx as an option.
