Hi
I'm having problems with a verity index that used to work but now, as we
add more documents, is not working properly. This is on CFMX 6,
indexing using a query.
There are only about 4900 documents/records in the index, but I cannot
index them all. If I randomly change the documents the actual documents
that go in the index then I can get it to work. The problem does not
appear to be based on the exact number of documents, or the contents of
any specific document (since I can create an index with the first 1/2 of
the documents, and another with the second half).
Some of the documents are pretty big... The total doc size that I am
trying to index is around 870 MB; the biggest index that worked includes
around 730 MB of content.
Also, when the index fails to build there is a single file left over in
the root of the index directory called NeoXXXXX.tmp (where XXXXXX
changes with each run). It looks like it contains VDK command
responses. Based on that I infer that the number of records added before
"aborting" varies (as I randomly select documents to index), and
sometimes gets really close to my total document count... to within 50
documents.
Can anybody offer any advice on how to diagnose this? It feels like I
am hitting an internal limit, but I don't know what it is or how I can
affect it.
Thanks
Mark
