It is a CF file, you have to store it somewhere and open it with your CF editor. If you try to read it from your browser, all CF tags are interpreted as illegal HTML tags and are ignored. Use "File - save as" in your browser menu. You may also "View the source code". The GEDCOM file is received as an uploaded file.
