I have a scheduled task that runs quite often. It saves its results to a file,
just for troubleshooting. Several times over the past few weeks, the task
appears to have stopped working. if I open the result file, it shows only a
file not found error, looking for the actual task file that gets run, and when
I then go to the page myself in a browser, I get that same error.

However, the file is quite clearly there. I can see it using some admin tools
on the server, and I can open it in an editor.

If I open the file, add a space, delete the space, and save the file, all of a
sudden it works fine again, both scheduled and in a browser.

Any ideas? Has anyone run into anything similar?

This is CFMX 701, IIS 6.0, Windows Server 2003.
