Hello. I know it is a bit off topic but you guys seem to know
everything.
I have a bunch of CSV text files created with Oracle SQL*Plus from the
command line. I now need to import these into the database but SQL*Plus
seems to be notorious at creating white space between the columns of
data. I have 12 files totalling 9 mb. What I need to do is replace the
white spaces with a simple reg ex |[ ]{1,50} .
Now I have tried two applications that do the job and that I can
eventually run from the command line, but they just timeout and hang,
take too long to process.
Anyone know of a good application, super fast, that can do this sort of
thing. And no I do not have a Perl server that I can use if this is an
option.
