I get the error on step 3 of the instance creation and, no, I haven't tried creating the new instance in any other manner. I'm certainly willing to try if you can share some destructions for doing so.
The key for my installations, though, is that each needs to operate off of a separate jvm.config file so I have to create the service manually. This shouldn't be a problem no matter which way I create the instance, but it's a little "abnormal" so I thought I'd put it out there. Thanks.
