Heh. Judging by your introduction... the age of spiritual machines had a good bit along the lines of "this stuff is far out man, right now!" In X years, it's gonna be outta sight! If you think that's a hokey idea, you'd really think that book is hokey. It is kind of impressive when you think about it... all that LISP stuff and whatnot.
