You appear to have a closing bracket at the end of your values insert:
'#form.comments_employee#')] <-- note the closing bracket.
Try this:
<cfquery name="creditcard" datasource="creditcard">
insert into card_information
(
[date of entry],
[date of charge],
[vendor name],
[amount of charge],
[credit card number],
[charge category],
[employee / comments]
)
values
(
'#form.dateofentry#',
'#form.date_of_charge#',
'#form.vendor_name#',
#form.amount_of_charge#,
'#form.credit_card_number#',
'#form.charge_category#',
'#form.comments_employee#')
</cfquery>
To make your life alot easier I would try not to use column names with
spaces in the future.
