Backup the following directories: C:\Program Files\Macromedia\HomeSite+\UserData C:\Program Files\Macromedia\HomeSite+\Wizards C:\Program Files\Macromedia\HomeSite+\UDFbrowse C:\Program Files\Macromedia\HomeSite+\Extensions (this assumes you installed HomeSite in the default directories.) Copy the back up to the new location and install HomeSite. It will see your old settings and you will be off and running.
Try giving CFEclipse a try. It is pretty powerful! I'm working on a HomeSite to CFEclipse converter that I need to update, but here is my first attempt: http://www.aftershockweb.net/forums/threads.cfm/ForumId/29 >How do I move my Homesite installation from my old computer (retiring) to my >new computer. I have been searching through the MM website trying to learn >how to do this, but can't seem to find a direct reference. > >Comments appreciated. > >Rick Colman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:238059 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
