The site uses a portal product called SOOP only because there is nothing 
similar in CF (cfnuke is rubbish) and I did not have time to build something 
from scratch. 
There is actually a fair amount of CF code running in the background 
anyways.

There are no hosting control panels written in CF either, so does that make 
all coldfusion hosts crap because their control panels are written in PHP or 
ASP ? Does it reduce the quality of their services, no of course not.
