Never mind... I just read something about "hotlinking" content. Sites tend
to ban that... You learn something new every day. I will just use another
project to help me learn stuff.

Subject: Images and CFHTTP

I am trying to learn more about CFHTTP and I am running into a weird issue.
I am flexing my RegExp muscles and am doing so by grabbing image and link
tags from web sites via CFHTTP. Half the time, if I dump out the image tags
I collected they display fine. And half the time, they do not display at
all.

However, on the ones that did NOT load, if I view the source code, copy and
paste the image tags into Homesite and then just browse the file, those same
image tags show up fine. So, I am wondering if there are any suggestions
about this. I thought maybe it was a CGI referer issue (meaning images were
blocked if the "Browser" didn't come from the same site or something... But
using the Browse button in homesite on the pasted Image tags seems to
dispell that. So then I thought maybe it was the User agent issue? But I am
sending along the user agent in my CFHttp tag as the same as my browser.

So, any thoughts?

Also, the images that are not showing up are just standard JPG images (as
built into my regexp) so I don't think any kind of content feed check is
being done (but I could be wrong- I am not a server guy).

Thanks!
