Yes, but if someone does not know ASP.NET and is wanting to learn it when coming from another language then they would have no idea if what they are finding from google is helpful to them or not. It would be just like trying to go from ASP to ColdFusion and find a page that tells you all about CFFORM, CFINSERT, CFUPDATE, etc while comparing them to the equal ASP method. They'd have no idea they might be getting shown how to do what is considered by most the "wrong" way.
