Can 2 seperate urls activate 2 seperate CF websites that reside on the one server

hi

do you know if it is possible to have cf redirect to a specific page based
on the url that is typed in ??

so that you can effectively have 2 separate websites sitting on the one
server and then site1.com and site2.com are both pointed to the one ip
address but when the application.cfm or index file is executed the code
reads the url that have been entered  and then redirects the browser to the
relevant subdirectory which is the root directory for that particular
website ????

am I making sense
