How To Determine the Refferal URL ??

I am able to view how many people are currently logged onto my site and the
ip address that they have come from. Is it possible to code it so instead of
showing the ip address it shows the url they entered to view my site that
way i can track instantly the urls that are more active and those that are
not

Similar to the way the stats packages extract the same data however I am
wanting the information on my own page all the time rather than relying on
the stats package that has its info updated once a day or once a week
