You should try using the latest DataDirect JDBC drivers. Back up your
existing driver JAR file before installing:

You might also try Oracle's own JDBC drivers, but they do have different
functionality, so you would need to thoroughly test your application.

You might have other issues unrelated to database drivers, of course. You
may want to limit database connections and see if that has any effect, if
the problem continues.
