Hello all.
It's been a long time. I went into lurker mode for a while so I can actually get some work done. :-) Anyway I have a question. It's about form/forum spammers. I am having a problem on a lot of my sites where people are auto creating account and post ads on our forums. I even have the capatcha validation turned on. I also run a ton of lead sites that have forms for people to fill out for insurance quotes. The problem that I am having here is I get tons of auto submits from all kinds of places with weird ads in the comments box. It messing up my lead conversion and I need a way to filter out all these spammers. Is there some type of Black List that I can run each form submit against to block out any bogus leads. I have seen something like this before but I can't seem to find it again. I am hoping that there is a list or service that is consistently updated that I can compare against.
