Thanks for letting me know. I called Adobe and they didn't see to know what was going on. I ended up temporarily reinstalling CF multi-instance on my laptop with that clients license and then copied over the license.properties to the clients production servers. I know that I could of just re-installed cf on the client boxes, but I just didn't want to deal with explaining to the client why.
