You could try shortmessageservice.com

We use them on the www.yourorganiser.com.au site in order to send SMS reminders.   And 
there is also www.blueskyfrog.com who send messages to Australian phones, however I'm 
not sure
if they will act as a gateway!!  I would think the guys at shortmessageservice may be 
more suitable.
