The reason I joked is because it didn't come across as polite. Dave was polite about it, with me, for example. More of a conversive "hey, this is more appropriate over here" type comment. In self-moderating lists this thread will re-occur, and I get how to an old hand it gets tiring rehashing the same info, but really, it doesn't hurt to include the sanctioned place to move the convo to, nor does it hurt to put it forth in a way that avoids people feeling like they are getting controlled. Just because it really facilitates the objective. Arg. I'm horrible about being OT and letting sleeping dragons lie. My conceptions don't seem to mesh well with others. With that said, I'll comment on this thread no more, and apologize for prolonging it with this post. To be clear, this is just constructive criticism Kevin. You are doing an important (and hopefully the only needed) task for self- moderation by, well, self-moderating.
