My contract basically says the client has an unlimited use license for the code I've written FOR THAT SPECIFIC SITE. They can not use it anywhere else, transfer it to anybody else, or sell it to anybody else without my consent. How many of us have developed certain modules we just re-skin and use over and over again? I've got newsletter applications, rich-mail applications, and number of others I can just drop into any site and restyle. Might look completely different, but the code behind it isn't altered. How do the rest of you charge for this type of thing? I can drop a complete newsletter application into a new site in less than an hour.
