If you contact the airlines, I think they have hardship rules that will
allow them to get you on a flight ASAP in cases of emergency like this...

This is totally off topic and I apologize for breaking my own rules but I
have to. I'll punish myself for it later.

Does anyone here have any contacts in the airlines industry? I need to get
to Florida today and back tomorrow (leaving by 3:00pm). My grandfather just
passed away and we have to have the funeral tomorrow morning and then be
back in NY before 7:30 for a major holiday.
