Hi,

Does anyone have an alternative solution to calling cfcompile via a cfexecute
tag (i.e. by calling the compiler as an object)?

Our dynamic pages are compiled using this method and then deployed across
several servers. The problem we have is that the cfexecute tasks do not always
close so we end up with a large number of processes using up resources,
eventually stopping the compile process altogether.

Due to the large number of pages and frequency of changes, building EAR files
is not feasible.

We use cf7 on win2000.

Cheers
