We're using CF MX 7 with the jdbc driver from Oracle. When we tried to use it we couldn't get the resultsets back in the curser output parameters. We found several posts online stating the same problem. All of them said to use the ODBC Socket connection to the Oracle ODBC driver. It works great except for the problem with the varchar output types.
