WIndows 2003 and IIS6 is DRIVING me up a wall... I have a virtual directory under my secured ssl page. I use this virtual directory to write files to and create files in coldfusion to dump there temporarily for some people to right click and save them. (they may be of various types and extensions). Now when I try to use IE or firefox, or save target as, I get a 404 error. Looks like IIS6 is locking everything down..
How do I add allowable extensions??? like .txt or others??? I know you can add allowable web server extensions but you have to associate that with a process, and these files may not really have a process to relate to.. Also, can anyone reccomend a good book on IIS 6??? Any Ideas???
