well its only like $9, even will could afford that! Games, I'm not a big gamer but I bought Call of Duty 2 for mac intel and I run it on my macbook pro and the settings for the game I maxed out on everything and it runs beatifully, havent even had it "studdddder" once. I have some of the older medal of honor games pre intel and they run fine too. I do have the better video card in here tho and 2gbs or ram and the faster chips and the faster hd.
I have read lots where pc mags have been testing pc games running on apples bootcamp and there results are that they run better than most pcs do, most compared it to a dell xps system, just half the weight and much thinner. So really there is no reason for anyone not to go mac, its long been that games were just better on pc but now you can use the better os as in OSX (and you cant diss OSX unless you have tried it, most ppl that diss it have probably never even seen it in person) and you can start buying current games that play as well as the pc versions and you can run your pc games on it as well and they will probably play better than they do on your pc. ~Dave - formerly known as "the disruptor"~ ---------------------------------------- From: "Denny Valliant" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, June 17, 2006 7:05 PM To: CF-Talk <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Which version of CF should I download? I love that my laptop (w/Synaptics pointing device) came with that functionality built into the driver. Hadn't ever messed with it, and this one time I did, and it's AWESOME! Configure hotspots, etc... really nice. Glad they got something like that for the mac lappers, but it should be FREE! If'n you run a MS laptop with a synaptics pad, I highly recommend getting the latest drivers and using this stuff. Real nice, and the fiance doesn't complain 'bout the incessant "click, click, click" 'n no mo... ** How's Apple doing with games? Last I checked, if you were a gamer you wanted MS, but that has been changing over the years... :Denny "the discombobulated" (or is that discombobulator?
