I think I'm still the only one using FarCry (an open-source ColdFusion CMS) as a blogging platform. FarCry's out-of-the-box "news" content type is perfectly suited to this - I just had to add the commenting mechanism, which took about an hour. I think it's cool because it allows me to build out a site in addition to having a blog. We are using FarCry for the ColdSpring site as well.
