Whoever suggested dojo as a tool for nifty UI stuff was bang on. It does all the usual AJAX stuff, but I love the modular design and all the nifty effects, etc. Way overkill if you're just doing simple xmlHttpRequests, I recon, and no CF tutorials, but it's easy enough on it's own... and it has Drag and Drop, etc...
Just wanted to say thanks to whoever suggested it, and throw it out there for folks who are curious. dojotoolkit.org. It is more like laszlo or flex though, kinda a different mind set than your "normal" HTML stuffymeethingnots. More component based, perhaps would be a cool way of explaining it? Eh... Pretty cross-browser-able, etc. (a concern [again] with AJAX UIs)... Good stuff! :d On 6/20/06, Andy Matthews <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > For the record, I'm using JSMX (www.lalabird.com) and it's pretty easy to > get working.
