I think the difference between a framework and a methodology is that with a
methodology, you have to recreate your framework every time, and with a
framework, you just have to stick to your methodology.

A framework is a physical thing, a methodology is an imaginary thing which
could be put down on paper, but would not make it any more physical or less
imaginary.

Working within a methodology is a state of mind. You want to stick with it
so your application is consistent. Working within a framework is a
constriction that forces you to stick to one methodology.

If you don't like the methodology applied by a framework, create your own
framework or learn to adapt your brain to an existing one.

Frameworks are not required to make a clean application, however I would say
a methodology is. And of course, you can apply your own methodology to the
top of an existing framework (and that framework's methodology).

Even still, framework, methodology, both or none, do not a well-developed
application make.

There's some thoughts to think. My brain is hurting.
