I've toyed around with the idea of trying to embed images in spreadsheets but it's *WAY* to complicated, and as far as I know, can't be done - at least not really embedded.
If you really want to take a lot of time to play around with it, build a spreadsheet and drop an image into it. Then save the spreadsheet as an HTML document.
