I honestly believe that this is not a very popular feature request. I don't know this for sure, but I suspect that most CF developers don't know what they're missing, so they are happy (ignorance is bliss). I have used a real debugger before, and when I started developing in CF, that was the #1 thing I missed. But I'd guess that most CF developers have never used a real debugger.
