I've missed the context of this discussion (so ignore me if I'm way off base), 
but you can click on anything on a non-framed page and have it change ANYTHNG 
else on that screen...it's called CSS...used to be too hard to use due to cross 
browser issues...now it's pretty dang good.

This is the "new" way of doing things and is seen heavily with anything AJAX 
powered

Time to come out of the secret base of your Matt ;-)
