The form post, all controls are visible.  The <cfselect> does not
populate from query and I have this ticking clock that won't go away.

Okay, I think we can safely say that the problem is not your /CFIDE
folder.
Does the flash form load? Do you get javascript errors? could you post 
the <cfform> code?
