I know what you mean about multiple jobs. Personally I'm working two jobs and starting a consulting/promotions biz all at the same time.
It's funny how almost everyone that answered said something about second jobs and contract work. BTW, interesting aside, US Today (I think it was) rated software developer as the number one job to have in the US.
