Mactel's are not officially supported yet (as some of the links and such have made clear). The process is VERY difficult in my opinion but that guide that was linked worked for me (http://webmages.com/cfmxIntelOSXguide.html) and that's that I am a noob to Macs with no Linux experience (and very poor command line skills ;) and new to Apache...my point is, if I could do it with that guide..anyone can. It's up and running now and working perfectly so far.
