Here is my issue.. a while back I worte my own dhtml tree displayer. I am using it to display the folder structure given a root folder. The issue I am running into, my root folder now is on a network (a different location altogether), and on a unix machine (my server machine being windows). and it is so frikking slow when I do a simple cfdirectory, and as you can imagine everything timesout.. what do I do? before I even try using cftree I am looking for someone to say yeah it might work. I just don't want to bring applets into picture.. what do y'all think?
