Do *NOT* use Redhat 9. It isn't supported, and there are NO security updates being made for it any more. If you go with Redhat 9, you'll probably be running a fairly insecure server. so go with the latest Fedora if you must, but add my name to the list of CentOS supports. Redhat charges $$$ for Redhat Enterprise Linux, but due to licensing restrictions, they are STILL required to release the source code. The CentOS organization reverse-engineers every release from source and builds their own distribution, removing all Redhat copyrighted logos and names. Anything that is certified for RHEL will work on CentOS.
