There are plenty of javascript... scripts... out there to limit the number
of characters in a textarea. But be sure to check the #len()# of the field
on submit just to be sure.

If you want to leave the length as is and get rid of the majority of spam
posts, try this out. Everyone seems to be enjoying it and I get comments all
the time about how easy it is to use.

I have a cf guestbook that is receiving annoying advertising and people
