Solution 1 would be to stop the ad after 1 month and notify the seller that the ad has ran its initial course and that if they have not sold the item to log in and re-list it for free for 1 more month. (people like being given free stuff after the fact... more so than they do up front)
Solution 2 would be to just double your initial 1 month to 2 months and call it a 'perk'. Tell your customers it's twice the ad time for half the price blah blah These both seem like good solutions to me (I'd prefer solution1 personally) ..:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.
