This is a stupid question, but do you have a script tag before it calling
the .js file with the function?

Subject: Firefox vs. JavaScript

I am having an issue with the use of JavaScript not working in Firefox.
When I check the JavaScript console it doesn't like <a
href="javascript:onMenuClicked(event,this,'d01')". Says the event is not
undefined. The function handles expanding and collapsing spans.
The whole code is:

Calling page -

<a href="javascript:onMenuClicked(event,this,'d01')"><img id="imgd01"
height="16" src="icon_parent.gif" width="32" align="absMiddle"
border="0" />&nbsp;&nbsp;Art</a><br />

<span class="clsHide" id="d01">

<table class="degrees" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0"
width="400">

<tr><td colspan="3"><p></p>Objective(s): </td></tr>

<tr><td align="center"><a href="mailto:";>Email the Department</a></td>

<td>&nbsp;</td>

<td align="center"><a href=".pdf" target="_blank">Program
Description</a></td></tr>

</table></span>

...js document -

function onMenuClicked( evt, eSrc, id) {

            var eSpan = document.all[id];

            eSpan.className = (eSpan.className=='clsShow') ? 'clsHide' :
'clsShow';

                        var eImg = document.all['img'+id];

                                    if( eSpan.className=='clsHide' ) {

                                                eImg.src = _imageRight.src;

                                    }

                                    else {

                                                eImg.src = _imageDown.src;

                                    }

}
