Hi all
We have an app which was exhibiting strange behaviour until we realised we
needed to read-only lock some application and session variables.
(Previously, we had always used exclusive locks for writing these variables,
but no locks for reading). This seems to have fixed our problem, but we now
have a new problem, where the site gets deadlocked
eg the following error message:
Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Your transaction (process ID
#14) was deadlocked with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock
victim. Rerun your transaction.
Have we removed one set of problems just to get another set, or is there
something we have missed here? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
Garry
