Hi all. I am wondering if it is possible to use CFFile to find particular
instances of text in a file. I have the wonderful job of going through all
the files on a website, and putting all the queries, fields, tables, and
datasources into a database. We have about 439 separate files, and each
file can have more then one query. Needless to say, the prospect of doing
this by hand is less than appealing (is it even possible? I think I would
die before I got done if not from old age then from boredom)
Luckily, most of our queries are of the format qcfNameHere. Would it be
possible to use CFFile, or some other tag, to get the information? A
regular expression would be useful, especially if it could grab a set number
of lines after an instance of qcfSomething.
Anyone have any suggestions on this?
